WHAT TO SERVE WITH PANCAKES:
Here’s what I all had on my plate with the pancakes.
3 chicken maple sausage links – The Appleton Farm brand is really good.
Frozen shredded hash browns – When making the hash browns I just heat a nonstick and add the frozen hash browns straight to the pan and spray the pan with Pam first. I like my hash browns crispy on the edges and this helps them get that way. I’ll cook them on low heat at 5 and flip after about 5 minutes or once the bottom is crispy.
Eggs – I cook in the same pan as well and I just microwave 3 chicken sausages with some paper towels for 3 minutes.
Heck, I even tried making those 2 ingredient pancakes that are made with just an egg and banana. Every time I attempted to make those I gave up because they don’t work for me. It made me wonder if people were adding actual flour to their pancake just to make them look nice and fluffy for Pinterest. Some of the pictures I see of those 2 ingredient pancakes online look like a pro made them. Whoever can get those pancakes to work, what is your secret? Pancakes need a leavening agent to help make them rise and there is none in that recipe!
HOW DO YOU FIGURE OUT POINTS FOR RECIPES?
The recipe builder app from WW is what I use to figure out points for all my recipes. You have to pay the monthly fee in order to use it.
WHY AM I STILL GETTING DIFFERENT POINTS FROM WHAT YOU HAVE LISTED?
This could be quite a number of reasons and here are a few that I have come across. I double-check all my recipes to make sure every ingredient is listed in the recipe builder correctly.
Number of servings the recipe makes
Low-Fat/Fat-Free ingredients used
Missing ingredients from a recipe – did you enter them all in?
Zero Point foods for the 3 different plans
Using the nutrition info calculator instead of the recipe builder provided by WW – this does not calculate zero point foods correctly if they are in a recipe.
