HOW TO STORE AND RE-HEAT CHICKEN AND STUFFING CASSEROLE:

Chicken and Stuffing Casserole is one of those meals that tastes even better the next day!

To Store: Simply place the lid on the casserole dish or cover tightly with aluminum foil and refrigerate for 3-4 days.

To Re-heat: Just pop individual servings in the microwave for 30 seconds – 1 minute until hot, or you can re-heat the entire casserole dish in the oven at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until warm.

5 BEST TIPS FOR CHICKEN STUFFING CASSEROLE:

TIP 1: MAKE THE STUFFING FIRST
Combine the stove top stuffing and hot water first and let steam in the microwave while you are preparing your other ingredients. This will ensure the stuffing is perfectly moist and fluffy!

TIP 2: USE YOUR FAVORITE COOKED CHICKEN
As mentioned above, you can use any kind of cooked chicken in this recipe including shredded cooked chicken, canned chicken, or chopped rotisserie chicken from a bakery.

TIP 3: USE YOUR FAVORITE CREAM OF SOUP
Any “cream of” soup can be used in this recipe and you can mix and match for added flavor. Our family loves cream of chicken, cream of celery, cream of onion, and cream of mushroom.

TIP 4: USE LEFTOVER TURKEY AFTER THANKSGIVING
Don’t have any chicken on hand? This recipe is delicious with leftover turkey after Thanksgiving!

TIP 5: ADD VEGGIES FOR MORE FLAVOR/NUTRITION
If desired you can easily add cooked vegetables to the casserole. Corn, broccoli, green beans, or a mixed veggie blend would all be delicious.
